Basscats are a spacefaring feline/dragon cyborg race that harvest kinetic energy from their environment to survive. Interestingly, music just so happens to vibrate the air just right for optimal energy transfer!
Unit02 is fresh off the line and awaiting adoption! Choose a name, get out there and make this character your own! The suit has only been worn on three occasions for a total of less than 8 hours and is in as-new condition with only minor cosmetic scuffing on the soles of the feet.
Supreme airflow in the headpiece, a sleek bodysuit with hidden ventilation panels, sturdy outdoor feet and double sewing throughout the costume ensure this creature will survive whatever you can throw at it!
HEADPIECE
The head features a lightweight foam shell construction, resulting in a completely hollow interior offering excellent airflow and vision through large following eyes and a flexible moving jaw, opening wide enough to comfortably drink from a bottle.
Due to the hollow construction, the fursuit head only touches the performer around the top of the head like a headband and around the chin and neck to ensure stability - these areas are lined with sewn-in lycra for comfort and to improve moisture-wicking.
Since there is such little material in contact with the performer's face, it traps significantly less heat and moisture than traditional carved foam construction and dries much faster between adventures. These factors also help make it comfortable for wearing glasses inside the suit.
With a rear zipper opening, there are 3 elastic straps inside the head, allowing for a universal snug fit. The fur is fully machine sewn for added durability.
Stand out at the party with UV-reactive horns, eyes, whiskers and mane!
A Basscat's horns are made from anti-gravity material that cause the layers to bounce and spin while floating in space above their heads! The horns are attached to the head via magnets and are removable for transport.
BODYSUIT
The bodysuit is tailored to fit a performer who is 193cm/6'4” and 105kg/230lb. Smaller people will find a slightly looser fit but the suit will fit well for wearers 180-195cm (5'11”-6'5”). Entry is via zips on the shoulders and back and do not require assistance or exceptional flexibility to open and close.
The pattern features a pair of bright ribbons, creating a helix in a continuous strip from each wrist along the arms, down the torso and legs to the ankles. The belly panel is fleece, with UV-reactive white embroidery thread to add extra pop to the design.
A single large purple spine is on the back, attached with velcro so it may be removed for cleaning the bodysuit.
There are ventilation panels hidden in the crotch and armpits for added cooling. The panels are made of athletic mesh for maximum airflow and are easily opened and closed with double-ended zippers.
Hidden inside the lower legs are mesh inner cuffs that zip to the top of the feetpaws, guaranteeing that the suit will never ride up to expose the wearer's ankles, while retaining full range of movement.
There is a small pocket hidden inside the right wrist for holding key/credit cards. RFID works through the fur so you can magically unlock doors, activate lifts and make purchases simply by holding your paw up to the reader.
TAIL
The tail is built off a high density foam base and core, offering excellent movement. Attaches via any belt; belt runs through a channel to securely anchor the base of the tail to your body. Tail is separate from the bodysuit and comes out of a small hole in the lower back for a seamless appearance.
FOOTPAWS
The footpaws are built on the same hollow foam shell technology as the head, resulting in a sturdy and breathable set of feet perfect for tearing up the D-floor!
Inside, size 13 sneakers with velcro closure offer unparalleled support and cushioning whilst still being exceptionally easy to put on and take off. The cuff is tall, extending halfway up the lower leg, lined with athletic mesh for added comfort and topped with one half of a separating zipper to attach to the internal cuffs of the bodysuit.
The design of the paws places the performer's feet along the inner edge of the paws with the toes right at the tip of the second toe, resulting in excellent dexterity and a staunch stance for the character.
Flexible, fleece-covered claws are engineered not to contact the ground while walking, running or dancing and will not be scuffed or damaged by normal wear.
HANDPAWS
Handpaws are one size fits all; featuring dexterous plush claws lined with lycra, applique fleece pawpads, an elastic inner cuff for a snug fit and are machine sewn with a fleece finish on the cuff edge for extra durability.
MEASUREMENTS
HEAD: Universal fit up to 28” around the headband. Conforms to smaller wearers by adjustable elastic straps.

Maximum shoulder circumference (around arms and chest): 130cm/51”
