In the stories I write, catnip's a controlled substance that can affect more than just cats. It can be chewed or smoked.

If you have a cat you could try silvervine instead--it's similar to catnip but much more potent. I want to get some sometime for my cat as catnip has started to interest her less (which is apparently common; seems like the older they get the less cats care about it).

They look really interesting, I think they make for awesome badass characters. I've seen some sphinx anthros - no Mexican hairless dogs though! Could try that some time ^^.

One of my cats is alergic to catnip, sneezes up a -storm-. The other one is a violent abuser of the drug, growls. Its a shame, they were such good innocent kitties..
