Not necessarily cybernetic. Those wings probably aren't real, but he's wearing armour that's made to mold to his body, like 16th century full plate.

Makes me think of the depressed fellow that's a staple of the dark souls games X3

Hopefully he's not so crestfallen as to finally succumb and try to murder you later on...

A little story behind this. This moth is an alien known as a Rikone. His name is Casmire Stresine.

This is just after the last days of the war with humanity. Being out numbered, his men took what people they could and attempted to flee to the far reaches of space but were intercepted by the humans. Knowing that that the Humans would kill him, he fleed in an escape pod and managed to get away, but there was a problem. No one was fallowing him. After a few hours he relized that his brood wasn't coming. They were enslaved or killed that day while he drifted off to freedom.

This is the instant where he takes a moment to process how bad of a man he is.
