When I see your photographs, I keep thinking 'almost but not quite' for some reason (except the picture of the sun shining through some trees, a few back; that was spectacular.) I'm sure, given that you're a very good artist, and I'm a wannabe photographer, that I can't give you lessons in composition (the phrase 'teach your grandmother to suck eggs' comes to mind), but I'd like to make two notes. The first is that the rule of thirds is as applicable, if not more so, to photography as to any other art. The second is that I do know what's 'wrong' with this particular picture, which is that the flower is on the left side, pointing left out of the frame.

Thank you for your comment, it is very nice! I have always been weak in composition and I rarely plan my work out, so perhaps thinking more about composition in photography will help me with my art.
