My housemates got it for me last year after I accidentally broke my previous SP about a year earlier. I've never upgraded to a DS or 3DS because all of my games are GB and GBA even if there are a few newer games that would be fun to play.
Yeah I'd love to start over but with not having anyone to trade the things I'd be missing it's somewhat counterintuitive.
