I've always strided to improve my artwork over time. But as I was drawing Zayev in a leaning position for a banner, I stopped mid sketch to make a cool discovery, I drew this before.

I decided to look back at my gallery going all the way back to 2014 to find my first drawing EVER, which was my first character, Zayev. I decided to compare the two.

Zayev, back in 2014 (right) originally had a blue glowing design on his face which traveled from his head, all the way to his tail on both sides. As I continued to draw him, that design became more annoying, rather than cool looking...

When late 2014 came around, I decided to drop his glow design all together.

When 2015 came around I had a story in mind to place Zayev into to build his character and also have the oprotunity to create more characters. This was also the time that TASK FORCE ALPHA was created.

Mid 2015, I had an idea to create Zayev without the glow but keeping the glowing part of him a secret.

2016, now, here he is. My art style went from whats there on the 2014 side to the 2016 side which contained 10 style changes and art blocks spanning a couple of weeks.
