Endless Realms advanced player race - Arctic Skidi
Player artwork for Endless Realms, a D&D-like "pen and paper" fantasy RPG I'm working for. These are the so-called advanced races, which are subspecies of the core 9 races to be released in their own separate advanced races books.
Arctic Skidi are perhaps the most unusual of the Skidi subtypes, not for their appearance, but for their distinctly "non-Skidi-like" demeanour - rather than sociable and fun-loving, Arctic Skidi are vicious hunters who seem to dislike all other races save the Ventelli, another race noted for its antisocial and predatory traits.

Glad to hear it! I think of the various Skidi, this one might be my favourite.
Yeah, their hind legs (along with the dengu) sort of end up becoming just "ball shapes" with feet on the bottom. They're both intended to be plantigrade, but with animal-haunchy legs where the skin makes it look more blobby than anything else :V

I could see the arctic ones not particularly being amenable to breeding with other Skidi, since I'm pretty sure they're not supposed to like each other much... but maybe instead of extra tall or short, just average sized, extra fluffy white with a bit of extra skin down their sides?
lol, maybe sort of like this guy? http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16004811/
Yeah, the art director wanted (some of) them to have black markings, like: http://images.mentalfloss.com/sites.....8584_small.jpg
