Thought it was about time I used my TLKFAA account. Im not a huge TLK fan (though I was when I was young) but hey, its another place to pimp my art out on and it'll get me drawing things I'd never normally draw.
But of course, I don't have any african animal characters, so I created Jerrick tonight.

I toyed with the idea of, y'know, NOT having a lion character because 98% of that website does, as if no other species exists in africa. But I've always kinda wanted to draw lions which AREN'T just carbon copies of the lion king style. So few people do, and Im starting to wonder if people know what real lions look like anymore. So rarely do you see a lion character, on any art site, that isn't a recoloured simba or scar. It drives me mad. Fine if you deliberately WANT to emulate the Lion King style, theres nothing wrong with that.
But so many people draw these simba clones then try to claim the character as their own unique creation when in reality, if they tried to use it anywhere outside of the net, they'd be sued by Disney.

There is more than one way to draw a lion, just as there is more than one way to draw wolves than just how Balto did it.

Not too sure on anything about this guy yet other than the fact that I think he'll be a harbinger of death/doom.

I had a dream once with a grey lion in it. Hence his colour.
