Flinters : As the end of the art stream wound down, the discussion of taur hybrids came up. What species worked and what didn't. Roo taurs have been drawn before but they can't really move well with the extra torso. They'd have to have equal length forelegs to have a proper quadraped lower stance. You know, like a centaur. But it would be silly to combine equine and marsupial species together, right?RIGHT??
So I had to draw how silly it would be. And you know what? The more I drew it out, the more it actually kinda works. It's ludicrous, but somehow the design isn't offensive. Weird, yes, but not so out of the norms as I thought it would be.
TWO pouches? Well why not? What would the lower pouch be fore?
With that thick heavy tail, I bet she could rear up really easily and stay that way. Good if you need to reach light bulbs on the ceiling.
Oddly enough, there was interest in buying the art and character as I drew it, so why not, throw it out there and
northern-crosshair ended up with the mare- um, flyer... GIRL. There. Her name is Elane.
I plan on having Elane work at the same factory as Vicki does. I imagine hooved taurs being frequently used in industry for moving loads around the plant floor. Why spent the time and money on powered pallet jacks when you have employees with built in pulling power?
