VJ-day 70th anniversary. In downtown Monroe NC there was a celebration and cruise in for the 70th anniversary of the end of world war 2. The classic movie theatre was set up and showed newsreels of the date. Classic cars line the street and swing music echoed off the buildings. The cherry on top was the C-46 tinker belle making multiple passes. This photo was not taken by me but was sent to me. It really sends you back in time.
