Not bad. Although, even if this thing has a 351(most had a 302) it's not very powerful. Still, if it was cheap then that's what matters. Plus, everything works.

I didn't get it for power, wanted it for its reliability. :3

The 302 EFI is a good motor, and if used right, you can get 15-17 mpg in the city. While that might not be a whole lot to today's standards, that's amazing compared to my carb'd big block cars like my 73 Continental and my 74 LeSabre, let alone my 66 Skylark made for pure power and the track. With work so close, I barely even notice the mileage. And it's totally worth the car.

Now all you need to add is a 35mm cannon to it, and you have a tank!

OMG! It reminds me so much of my 89 grand marquis. I loved that car.

Yours is SO MINTY! Our family had ours for a long time. The age finally got the best of her and she rotted away. She lived a long life!

Funny thing, I saw an 89 Grand Marquis in the same parking lot, was tan and brown. I love this car though, I got super lucky with it. Only had two other owners, and both owners barely used it. The first owner was a rich elderly man that rarely drove it but took care of it. The second owner ripped out the a/c compressor and did a little rigging to it, or had it taken to a shitty shop (Which I think is what happened) and the engine needed some work because of a lot of "user error" I found in the poor thing. Whatever shop they took it to ripped it apart and didn't take care of it all...then it came to me and I got it running again.

Runs good so far other than a fuel pump circuit failure (Has low voltage). Gotta replace a few plugs and wires for it to receive the right voltage and amperage...so it hesitates sometimes but everything works regardless. I use her every day. :3

I'm glad it's now owned by someone who takes care of her :)

Yeah, typical 5.0 from the late 80s. It's hardy though, and has decent gas mileage surprisingly.

Oh yeah! mine lasted way after the car died. Very hearty beast. I also got nearly 300k miles out of the transmission, That's what finally went in mine. I had another transmission to put in it but the body was too far gone.

I had this exact car! X3 was really cool, but had too much problems.
