Well, here's the result of tonight's music dickaround session. I decided to toss out all the weird ASIO4ALL stuff I was trying to set up and integrate my RL synths with my Reason software, and just do something in pure Reason again. I had picked up a couple of new "instruments" recently (one of the few things I actually bought on Black Friday). I took the same drum beat from the last attempt at Blue music, and slowed it down, and then just added some other instruments, and I think it's come out to be another pretty good "thinking about stuff" screen music for Blue's upcoming video game.
I said I would do SOME kind of music, and I did, so there. :)
The instruments used:
Redrum (with analog synth drum samples that I took myself from a Korg Monotribe)
Aurora (third party synth, does the main bass line)
Megasaur (third party synth, does the low boom-booms)
Parsec2 (Propellerhead add-on synth thing, does the Chinese sounding plucking)
Radical Piano (Propellerhead add-on realistic piano)
Korg MonoPoly (Korg add-on to emulate the 80's synth of the same name, does the late-coming analog counterpoint beat stuff)
