ok so this is just a really quick and messy sketch of Stretch as Newt Scamander (which is soooooooooo much harder to say then Harry Potter holy crap) from Fantastic beats and where to find them! :3 i recently went to see this movie and it was really good! I'm a fan of the Harry Potter movies so it mean its not really a surprise that i liked this movie as well! it seemed slightly more adult? i cant explain it maybe its because they were adults instead of kids and teenagers in this movie! there were also just more adult things happening idk it just seemed aimed more towards older teens and young adults then mostly kids and teens.

ANYWAYS I HAVE A POINT TO THIS IMAGE! the main character Newt is soooooooooo great! i really REALLY loved him! Hes a very VERY awkward person who seems to have trouble talking to people but can talk to animals better! Animals or "beasts" are just easier for him to deal with and they seem to be drawn to him! He can talk to people but hes very strange about getting around it and i really loved seeing that! Some of you guys might not know but i have social anxiety like VERY badly. I have a lot of trouble making eye contact and speak quickly which is something i saw Newt doing! Watching him made me not only think of myself at times but pretty much the ENTIRE time i thought of Stretch! Stretch is a very social awkward person who communicates with his body and music better then his words. Him being shy is a part of it but hes also just very awkward and would prefer to tell you how he feels threw music or by showing you with his body language. People who know Stretch know hes also a very sad and bitter person, he can be fun and is very kind but hes also struggling a lot which is something he is really trying to hide from people he doesnt know. He doesnt want anyone else to leave him so he'd rather be quiet and awkward then tell you how he feels. So people who dont know him are like "oh hes just quirky" when people who do know him can actually tell whats wrong!

Stretch also cares a lot about animals! he owns four ferrets that he lets sleep in his sleeves or travel in them when hes going places. He would always get in trouble at school for having animals in his pockets or bag along with his constant drumming on things and inability to talk to the teachers. If Reeko, Shad, and TJ hadnt thought he was cool and if Kat and Jenny hadnt kept bullies away from him Stretch would be a much sadder person and probably wouldnt have a social life at all
