Reduce, reuse and I'll have another.
Some time ago the store I work at did a renovation. After the fact this cabinet was seen as a left over item. I was able to get it and put it to use. You see, this cabinet used to house the breathalyzers we sold a few years back. They stopped selling about two years ago. I saw an opportunity and put it to use as a liquor safe.
I delight in the irony.
This thing was very difficult to work with. The back panel used to be an ad for the breathalyzers so I took apart the unit and flipped it around. The back of the panel closely matches the paint on the walls so it worked out well. It did take two men and a few hours to get it back in one piece. Once the top comes off there is nothing holding it together so on the reassembly you had to line up four pins and three glass panels while getting the door to stay on its hinge so the lock would still work.
Any way...whisky collection.
