Indeed, he was to HB like Mel Blanc was to Warner Bros. Though while Mel may have provided voices for a few non Warner Bros. productions, Dawes himself seemed like a loyal company man to the end, you hardly hear him do anything else...Except Cap'n Crunch.

Perhaps not Clemintine, but a different Tom Lehrer song comes to mind.

Well I'll be gosh darn burned. Who in their right mind would put radioactive materials in a desert. Seems like the desert is all ready ht enough, without adding more heat. Some folks round here seem to have little respect for the environment. Wonder if Yogi still has his ark? Also I wonder why the bus hasn't come yet? The heat probably have overheated their engines or somethin'. I'm sure one will arrive soon. In the meantime I better sing a little song.

My brother was in a local restaurant / bar a few years back. A Huckleberry Hound cartoon came on, and the young business droids had no clue who he was; they'd never seen him before.

So long as Dinky Dalton doesn't come around and make things worse.

If the bus does arrive, just hope and pray that Bert the Turtle isn't driving...

I never quite understood Huckleberry hound I think it was because I only caught the tail end of the Hannah-Barbera (excuse spelling) era.
Or that out tv networks skewed Looney tunes.
