LOT of people have been requesting an anthro race option. I think the common reason for not having one is given as, "Dragon Ball only thing" and "You never see any prominent animal martial artists let alone talented Ki users..." With some conjecture that maybe the beast races are not capable of channeling ki because they are not evolved / advanced enough or something. I dunno. It's all up in the air. But Toriyama HAS no set rules for his universe. He makes stuff up on the fly ALL the time so I don't see why it can't be added. Would add a LOT of character customization options too...
