As soon as the door started to move on its own, Torrent tried to back away, but then something lunged out. It knocked Torrent to the wall with the force force of a runaway train. Ash didn't make a run dare to even fully look at what came out; instead, she spread her wings and covered the children who had screamed over the beast's release. A living shield that may do nothing to what that was, but she had to do something, anything, to spare the children a few more seconds. The thing dashed across the room, knocking over desks, machinery, and anything in it's way. Torrent was on the ground, sore from her back to her legs. She lifted herself up by her arms, but then heard something else make noise in the room the first thing came from. Once the noises got louder, and covered her head as a flurry of things ran by and over her. Both women were blind to what was rushing by, but Ash could only assume horror from the sounds of the children.
"MEU DEUS!!" one screamed
"O que são esses monstros?" one cried as she watched
"Frère!"
"We gaan sterven!" one hugged another child close and tightly
Torrent looked up as soon as she felt say and out the door way she could see a snake head looking back as the mass it was attached to ran off.
"Are you alright?" Ash asked the kids, checking over the young, panicked ones for any injuries. And then she turned to Torrent "Are you alright? Did you break a bone?"
"No," Torrent coughed as Ash helped her up "Just got the wind knocked out of me."What were those?"
"I don't know," Yona said "I think we just let hell loose..."
"Then we have to get them out now." Torrent said as she picked up her knife "Keep them close, and stay behind me."
Ash ran back to the children while Torrent peered out the door. The halls were now covered in claw marks on the floor, and in the direction of the elevators, she spotted something the snake head from behind being dragged off, and in front of it was one blocking the rest of the view with massive, feathery, white wings.
"Come on," Torrent whispered "Quietly." And she sneaked out into the hall, trying to follow the monsters.
Ash kept close eyes on the children as she lead them behind Torrent, and then she spotted young doe that seemed to fight her way to the front of the children. "Are you alright?"
"Frère!..." She murmured as she looked past Ash and Torrent
"Is it the monsters?" Ash asked "Don't worry, well-"
"Frère!" She shouted and ran past Ash. "Frère!"
Ash ran and covered her mouth, but the feathered on at the back already turned around.
Torrent risen up with her knife ready to challenge it, but the thing ran down the hall faster. Dumbfounded and curious, She ran after with, and lead the others too. "Hey, wait!"
