This is not my experience but that might be because I am a girl who happens to love Star Wars.

Do you mean Art or IRL? Because IRL there's tons of girls wearing Star Wars shirts.

I'm talking about in real life.i am 38 years old ive mat 3 female Star Wars fans and 1's dead now:(. 1 was rocking a rebel tattoo ill add;) I at first didn't recognize it and I thought it might've been Battle Star Galactica and she kind of got all dirty and explained it was the marking from one of the rebel fighters on the helmet in Star Wars. wean i went to see two of the three that had jar jar in tham . The theaters were packed with what basically look like revenge of the nerds and there wasn't a woman in sight. Other than little kids with their male parents.if you include Nicowafer ive mat 5 female Star Wars fans;).
in art , it's actually more common than you think to see a female wearing a Star Wars T-shirt its a kind of a Star Wars nirds fantasy up there with the sexy librarian and Lora craft;) . Lora craft in a Star Wars T-shirt wraring librarian glasses and holding a book or laptop wood probably have most of us old school geeks . Not being able to handle it lol.

When I went to seen Force Awakens almost half the crowd was female and wearing Star Wars Garb and I know plenty of females around here who are into it.

first of all . Bear in mind I'm 38 ;) and a Star Wars T-shirt was a nerd condom in my day right up there with pocket protector and glasses ;) it was the next best thing to wearing a wooden sign that reads virgin who lives in mom's basement ;). too day's culture nerds are embraced a lot more warmly. And I never got to go to the theater to see Force Awakens or the Star Wars movie prior to it . I tried to but was never able to because I live so far from the theater.may not be able to see rogue one depending on a few things.see i am 50+miles from the the theater when I'm home and the road in and that is basically something like mad Max. Even without adding in ice and snow lol. lady i know is in the hospital from having a bad car accident a few weeks ago on that stretch of highway, basically she hit the same pothole not a block from her house that i have to dodge every time I go by her place.sshe was passing a few vehicles forgot about it hit it doing 90 or do and flipped her car. I've lost track how many accidents a week they have on that stretch of highway.my dad had like 8 or 9 i have had 1 where I was driving and probably six or seven where I was a passenger. Anyway, getting back to my point about Star Wars fans. It's only been in more recent years that women are public about being fans of it+ it only more recently got opened up to the female fans. When Disney took it over. It was more of a boys club kind of thing up until sometime in the late 90s or early 2000's.

I'm 36 and I've known female star wars fans all my life. Just sounds like you've had bad luck, son.
