This is the haiku I wrote when we had to write spring-themed haiku in my Japanese 1 class. I was the only one to write my haiku in Japanese, and my teacher made me recite it 3 times while our class was sitting out under the cherry blossoms in the school court yard (once in front of the class, again for my principle when he came by, and for one of the Japanese janitors that walked by). I figured since it got so much attention (x_x) that I could share it on here. Again, this is Japanese 1 + the extremely few things I taught myself (i.e. the kanji), so it may seem very awkward to foreign learners, but the Japanese janitor lady said I did very good, so nah-nah. :P
