My third commission from the talented

I love this piece very much. I had commissioned bix707 for another time period themed work that she had offered and decided to fill the Civil War slot. When giving the details I requested that Furlop should be a Union soldier and for myself to be a Southern belle for added tension to the pic in general.
Needless to say that I was very content with the results of this and if a picture could say a thousand words I feel that this particular image does so very well. I enjoy how she took it upon herself to pose them in such a way to suggest that something pressing is about to happen. What adds to this is Furlop's injured and bandaged state and the protective pose he is depicted in.
