You should keep practicing drawing. You'd make an amazing artist.

This was done in GIMP. My hand drawings are even worse. As in "turn Medusa to stone" worse.

Lets give some tips:
Stop using these flat textures, that adds to the Flatness wich looks just bad.
use a lot of small thinn and light strokes (Don't just draw a line, build the line by making more smaller lines, that works way better).
in general use thinner lines.

Break down your plans to simple geometric objects: Circle-Head,Triangle/trapezoid-Nozzle,Triangle-Ears then orientate on these shapes (dont follow them but use them as guides)
then the hart of everything, the shading, hard to learn, even worse to master. there you can just learn learn learn.


but the best tip from everybode: do it when you want, if you don't have fun drawing, you shouldnt or you are doing it wrong.
