Through his travels through many strange lands in search of his lover, Zuki, Shu crosses paths with another kitsune, even more uncanny than his lost friend. Zenion Infinitium, a kitsune/phoenix hybrid, or phox, offers sanctuary. But not with food, water, or shelter. Simply his company. Unknown and inconsequential to the lone wolf, Zen places a magic imprint on Lang Shu, and watches out for him, and over him. After a while, Shu opened his heart again and grew a close friend to Zen, and his siblings within his magical orbs.
If, for any reason, Zen is both needed and unreachable, Shu dons the mystic Phox Cloak, woven and enchanted by Zen and his guardians. Each guardian impregnates their mind power into this robe, which uses the combined intelligence and unique powers of all of them. As if alive, it protects Shu with a specific guardian's power or ability, or grants him one of these magic powers if absolutely needed, depending on the situation, so as not to allow him to become careless.
As plain and simple as the Earth Phox Zeno is, his power adds his own mighty strength to Shu's, as if there beside him. When in the heat of battle and not doing very well, his frustration and anger rage trigger Zenaku's contribution; if tense enough, Shu emits a flaming aura that numbs pain. If halted by a problem requiring something he doesn’t have, the cloak attracts Dark Matter in the and uses Zenny's zealous mind power to conveniently form what is needed for the job. When cornered, trapped or surrounded, Zenith's granted abilities allow Shu to pass through walls, enemies, and hazards. Although a strong swimmer, should he have to cross water too dangerous, Zenium enchanted the cloak to push away water from the wearer and form a mobile air pocket.
When Shu faces an opponent he is especially reluctant to fight, Zenatha's enhancement kicks in and the cloak releases a sweet smelling vapor that charms the opposition into complying pleasantly and swiftly, when inhaled. When falling to exhaustion. Zenya's gift comes into play here, by summoning wind from the cloak as Shu rests or recovers, the wind relaxes his muscles and rejuvenates all of his energy. Like the motherly Phox she is, Zenora imbued her electric power to protect Shu, by zapping enemies with electricity, should they find a chance to land a fatal blow. As a master of dark magic, Zendria’s contribution protects Shu from said magic when he finds himself on the wrong end of it.
In his usual daily routine of traveling and fighting to protect others, this cloak is mostly for show. But as his power as a warrior attracts a lot of trouble, it is always handy to have with him and is never folded up for too long. If the Pentagon hunters chasing Zen can zero in on his power, they can likely be led to Shu for his power, just easily as they find Zen, probably easier, since the cloak doesn’t provide Shu with escape options or shapeshifting abilities, which Zen himself is never short of. If Zen’s most dangerous pursuer Richter Pathwave finds the Langren, he’ll still find Shu as one of the hybrids his organization fears, and Shu’s chances of surviving him could drastically shift with the use of the Phox Cloak.

It just looked awesome on you, I thought I'd make my own style of it, plus you say Shu is like part of the family, and I'm getting more into outfit design for my OCs. Your contribution is the ability to summon an exact enchanted duplicate of your bo-staff, which, depending on which guardian's power is activate at that time, if any, allows Shu to wield said guardian's elements through the staff, the same way your orbs do for you, when not summoning those guardians.
