Ami was born into a rich family in Lillycove City in Hoenn. She was widely respected for her expectations to carry on her father's line of work as a respected CEO. She was waited on hand and foot, but it never satisfied her. She wanted to do more than sit around and listen to people praise her and her parents. She went into a rebellious phase, doing everything her parents told her not to. Eventually, the praise ended, but she still disobeyed her parents. She eventually learned how to pick locks from her "best friend" aka, some girl Ami caught trying to sneak into her house. She snuck out at night and was loitering outside a bar with her new "friends". She learned many offensive moves from them, infront of that bar. Eventually, she snuck out of her house, changed her appearence and name (to Ami) and left for PCA, where she could polish her fighting skills.
