Okay, so, I have a new pencil set. It isn't like my prismacolors, really...though the same company apparently makes 'em. So I decided to learn how to use 'em by experimenting on other people's characters, because I love drawing new things when learning new things.
Defiler mentioned that she likes my art-with-borders, and frankly I do too...so I decided to make a batch of fanart LJ-ish icons for people. I decided to do all equines for the hell of it.

Okay...before anyone gets too critical remember this is a BLOWN UP VERSION. The actual drawings are less than an inch tall/wide. And yes, they are all on the same piece of paper. :P

I think they're called Prismacolor Scholar pencils...they're a firmer lead than normal Prismacolors, so they're great for detail, like hair...but they suck when it comes to smooth flat surface colouring.
I plan to use 'em together with the softer leaded pencils to create some really awesome stuff. :)
