Like fad said, Cortana is your AI ally from the Halo games. She's with you from game 1 and helps you all throughout the game series... except in 5 but we don't talk about that game.

I'm not too sure if this fixes the AI issue faced with Cortana going rogue and starting a revolution against humanity...the only thing it's doing is changing her goals. Now she'll want to start remaking us all in a whole new image.
