Yeah I know. It's sorta dumb in a way, really defeats the magic (like when they explained the force, or where babies come from). I battle competitively (though not so much anymore) and most of those types of pokemon, Arceus and Kaiogre and stuff, are typically banned or in their own little tiers- so I'm just like "PFFT WHATEVA GO HOME GODS" and just don't use them or battle people that do (unless they're cocky douchebags. Its awesome to see a Vaporeon take down a Kaiyogre)

unfortunately what people don't understand is that Arceus is only in Sinnoh legend as the god, and is only said to have created Sinnoh, not the entire world >_>

Naw, I'm pretty sure the game was explicit in saying Arceus created the known universe.

Inference leads most to believe Arceus also contained all life in the universe into a single egg- Mew.

The one thing I'd want them to do is to boost up the max levels of the trainers. Seriously, lvl 60 at the elite four? even going one generation back that was weak. xD

Oh hell yes. Especially Cynthia in Platinum, and your rival for the weekly battles. Mutha fucking level 85. Finally a challenge for us people that get them to 100.

A Pokemon MMO would be particularly feasible, as you could traverse the entirety of Japa- I mean, the game regions, and not be constrained by the limits of generation or system. Rampant type-overpowering could be tuned down with the minimal effort of weekly or monthly patches, a shitload of sidequests added or removed as necessary.

That... that is an idea I can get behind... have an option to go out and train to be a Gym Leader, beat the Elite 4 of each area, or even join one of the many infamous Teams. Maybe even balance things out well enough to allow those who prefer certain types over others to make feasible teams composed of them, like water or psychic or grass types, or whatever you'd want, rather than relying on certain powerhousers. Other than that, I'd want to change the starter pokemon you start out with, if only for variety's sake.

Now, another interesting idea might be an MMO where you yourself are a pokemon living in a place outside of human population and what not. That could be cool. o.o

Sort of like the Mystery Dungeon games given their own life and lack of anchoring to a 'Guild' and somesuch? That could work out well.

I additionally would highly anticipate joining up with Team Aqua. GTFO, ARCHIE.

i doubt they would do that on a business stand point.
The only reason anything from Crystal and earlier isn't compatible with the games now is because they contain a different coding than the newer games, which up till now, has yet to even hint at changing.

And besides, if they ever did do that, they'd have billions of angry fans along with the already upset fans that hated the incompatibility with G/S/C as it is.

In the end, choosing to make the games so they can't trade to further generations would be a sour move on their part.

I doubt they're worried about it at all. I mean, if you get a DSi you totally can't catch pokemon in D/P/Pt that you need sapphire/ruby/emerald/fire-red/leaf-green for.

You can't evolve without making sacrifices, most people who care about games have already gotten a DS or DS Lite, people who only own a DSi are probably either not interested in Pokemon, or too young to care about GBA games.

Maybe with the inclusion of downloadable GB/A games on DSiWare they'll bring Pokemon and find SOME way to make migration function properly.
I'll take a DSi over a normal DS if I can play Four Swords in multiplayer again.
