I faintly regret my decision to dispatch a couple of my most trusted guards mice to our northern allies, as i doubt they will return to us before the winter chill. Although i may require them through the tumultuous near future, i could not ignore our northern sisters cries for help. It is, after all, mousekinds job to help mousekind, so that together we may remain strong in this treacherous world we reside. As of late, the mouse territory across the north sea has endured heavy casualties in travel upon expanding their territory and requested pathfinders to help illustrate safer, more efficient means of travel. Due to the events that transpired last winter, i felt the need to send Saxon away from lock haven. His declining confidence in the foundations of our city has been waging a poisonous war on his mental state, and i fear he has felt isolated for too long, with Kenzie stationed away on the southern shore last spring and summer. Needless to say i have also sent Kenzie alongside Saxon, i am confident in their abilities to balance each other and ensure each others safety and success, i can only hope that they may take this time away to discuss, and possibly work through whatever emotional demons have been causing Saxons fearful lapses of rationality recently.
