It wasn't my fulltime role in the party, but I was a healer.
Most cure spells in 3.5e D&D are touch spells.
Dragons lose dexterity when they get older and bigger.
--you see how this is a problem in reality when you apply logic and physics?

How about the Longsword of Healing that was give to the strongest person in the party? (Formerly) Human Fighter with a strength score of 55 and a crapton of feats to go with longswords to make them frighteningly effective and all he has to do is strike you with the sword. If you survive the damage, you get that much healed times two. But thats the problem. -IF- you survive. Good as a backup healer, but... boy there were a lot of rewritten characters.
I regret nothing. I was helping.

I've been here. Right now I'm in a campaign of Hc Svnt Dracones and my character is under investigation for venting the atmosphere from a ship after exploring half of it and not finding the crew... She killed half the crew we were supposed to save. She also lost an arm trying to escape so now she has a prosthetic motorized arm with a pistol hidden in it! :D This cost her most of her earnings from that, and the following two contracts. I find games like this always end up making awesome stories when it's all said and done.
I'm not sure what character class your dragon is, but if I was DM I would be willing to bend the rules a little to let you have a familiar for this purpose, or at least create what is essentially a semi-autonomous levitating wand of cure spells under your control. Should be in line with a spellcasting dragon character.
Ah, healing magic at touch range. Always fun when you have characters of wildly differing sizes.
Meanwhile, every MMO makes it a ranged spell of the "instantly targets" variety.
You don't see "Healdokens" that often, though. Probably because healers would rage if they lost a party member due to the travel time of their spell.
...Fun fact: In RetroMUD, characters range from "As tall as buildings" to "as tiny as insects". There's a class, Biomancer, that's effectively an arcane healer, but they can also perform surgery.
The game doesn't stop a giant-sized dragon from performing surgery on a pixie-sized atomy.
Hell, Dragon is even one of the recommended races for Biomancers.
