Sort of inspired by a birthday/wedding anniversary celebration I went to a couple weeks ago. I tend to hang back and go into what I call "observer mode" at social events which is really a kinder way of saying I'm a professional wallflower.

The fat cat in the middle is only there for the food and is stuffing his face with gusto; the nerdy rabbit is either conducting an experiment on his phone, trying to listen to a web or podcast, or is trying to watch a movie or something over the din of the event; the fox girl either wishes her dress wasn't so unflattering to her figure or is hoping somefur'd at least ask her to dance. All of them clearly do not want to be there (despite the fat cat's expression).
