Over the past couple of weeks prior to MFF I was busy sculpting a dual purpose mask base that would serve as a happy clown and a Santa Claus (once hair was added naturally). At this point it is nearly ready to cast in plaster, and then I'll pour a couple of copies in liquid latex. One will be used for a Santa for this Christmas (ho ho ho), the other as a clown for the year round terrorizing of all God's innocent creatures. Too bad no one is innocent anymore, nyeh heh heh!
This is my first mask sculpt since this creepy dude: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12827970/
I can do slip cast latex pulls on my own, but my intention is to find a local FX artist to create foam latex prosthetic versions, as that it what will really bring it to life!

I can sort of see the resemblance. (I had to Google his work.) I just wanted something that looked good natured and amused, vs. the typical wicked demonic clown nonsense that pervades our culture today. Or maybe this will supplant those would-be villains as the new face of terror?!?!? (!?!?!) I hope not!
Once I have done a couple of pours, I'll definitely let you know about the liquid latex versions. I will keep those costs reasonable. Foam latex will be down the road. Shoot, now I should go retrieve my earlier dog toon and creep sculpt casts from NJ! This could become a thing!
