Now you're playing with willpower 1 (art by JosephCyronder)
"Hey Astral. where did you say you got this game?"
A glowing cable threaded From the white and blue bunny, cody, to the brightly colored 'dream dragon', astral across the way. The two of them had stopped making eye contact, the game demanded total focus, true skill, and their respect.
"huh? I 'unno." Astral mumbled. He was much better at the game than the bunny, Cody thought. but that was only because he had more time with it. It was really surprising the dragon had a second copy and link cable already handy. but he shoved the cartridge in and....
"We've been....playing for hours, Astral."
"uhuh..." Astral never looked up from his game. tail curling lazily. Cody was mildly frustrated that the dragon didn't take his comments seriously, but who could blame him? Cody wouldn't take the time to pull away from his game to look at Astral. Every few minutes, Cody would try to get his attention. but it would always be met with an absent minded grunt of acknowledgement.
"we need to stop."
"uhuh...."
"where would be a good point to...?"
"uhuh..."
"ah.....are you listening to me?"
"uhuh..."
"just.....one more level..."
Cody mumbled and hadn't realized it was more than just a few hours, The game had slowly altered their perception of time and reality, all the while quietly sapping their desire to think or do anything but play. the cyan light crept into their eyes and blinded them to everything else in the room. everything else was boring and not worthy of their attention. The game was al they needed. all they wanted. As the marks on their chests started to tingle and warm up in response to their diminishing willpower, all they could do was let their mouths hang open, their eyes go wide. and quietly mutter.
"This is the best game ever."
In truth. The device never started a game in the first place. With a complex, mind altering algorithm, it merely tricked their minds into synchronization. Helping them grow malleable, vacant. Formatted minds ready to be whatever they were told. for all that was on the screen was nothing more than a glowing cyan light. As the cable began to float in the air, wrapping round their heads, it begun to transmit data. Uploading their new sparkling personalities.
All they could do was drool, and play.

I figured he could use a player 2. But now that they're blank. What could I possibly do with them. I may have an idea...
