I think this is a wonderful idea that has a lot of potential, but the intestines and the deer (?) are much too flat and ruin the perspective.

Monsters lurk in all of us. At least you have an outlet that's healthy...

When I was younger I had a philosophy about hunting that I followed. First, the prey doesn't have guns so neither would I. This led me to use a bow and arrow hunting style. I found it was too efficient. They couldn't reach me when I culd take them out at a distance. This led me to the hunting method I still prefer. I use a knife. A big knife , but a knife none the less.. This means that I have to be stealthy and it gives them the opportunity to fuck me up if I slip up. It also means that there is a fair amount of spurting blood and gore during the encounter, usually theirs sometimes mine . Usually their's. Thankfully for me I'm a good hunter. In fact I keep scaring the hell out of my friends because they say I'm so sient when I walk up on them to say hello it sometimes makes them freak out and scream, thankfully they know me well eniugh that they laugh afterwards. So when I go a hunting for food I have to stalk, bring down and immediately dress the animal to prevent spoilage. so this picture is particularly nteresting as it's a place I've found myself in though I seldom eat any wild thing raw. It allows me to sublimate my animal instincts and fill my larder at the same time. To my friends it's one of the grossest things they've ever heard of. To me it's fair. In RL I'm a staid scientist (physicist) and all around nice guy, but when the urge hits me I go hunting. And everything from squirrel to deer are fair game (won't even think about domesticated cows of moose). Sorry to go on for so long but I just wanted to let you know why I can relate to this piece....
