I have a couple commissions involving griffins and they will become much more a part of my life in my Equestria dreamscape soon. So I thought it would be wise to do a few head study sketches to get a better feel for how the feathers are placed on the head. So after a bit of Google searching and an hour or so of work this is what I had.
