The Togorian, chain-smoking, mohawked Jedi. Why? Well...why not?

When I was reading some Star Wars books I came across the species of Togorian, basically anthro cats with a lot of attitude and thought it'd make the perfect baddass jedi.

Awesome, awesome stuff. One nitpick, though

From what I recall from reading the Han Solo trilogy, Togorians didn't have tails. Artistic license?

You sure that wasn't the Trianii?
There are many cat-based anthro aliens in Star Wars- Cathars, Trianii, Togorians and... I can't remember the last one.

Lightsabers were often heavily customized by the maker - note Darth Tyranus' curved hilt, Darth Maul's double-saber (similar to the one used by Exar Kun 4000 years prior), or the variable-length blade created by Gantoris at Skywalker's academy on Yavin IV.
