My problem is that my hair is so fine that any length at all weighs it down and it lays flat. So when I'm at that awkward in-between stage, there's literally nothing I can do with it. That's one of the reasons I've kept it short for so long. It's the only way I can keep any volume. I've considered just keeping it short and just wearing nice wigs when I want a pretty or sexy look.
