For the first time in forever, I've drawn a picture every month of the year. Did I get better? Nah. Do I feel like I learned things? Definitely.
* 2016 was fully digital, which was totally new for me. Lazy Nezumi plugin was bought and tested.
* I learned how to use the perspective constraints plugin. Indoor scenes are no more an insurmountable obstacle, oooh.
* I kept my larger PSD files and frequently went back and made small corrections, never did that before, instead just went lazy.
* Got more confident at hand poses.
* Got more confident at character interactions, which is entirely the fault of two people: DarkRika for encouraging me to just draw, or I wouldn't even have started, and Ascar for showing interest in my stupid friggin OCs and critiquing my shit.
* Got more confident at digital inking, which was a great thing to play with but also made me neglect my sketchier style, heh.

Horrible Bird Person a.k.a. Tani was the clear winner, as were other humanoid OCs. They didn't necessarily get prettier, but I still think I understand things better now.

- On the downside, I was tempted to simplify and deconstruct stuff all the time. I didn't do much painterly practice, and I worked very little in the departments of light, texture and color. Maybe next year. For this one, I'm just glad that the art block of the previous years went away. Progress may be slow, but this is a starting point.

For the thumbnails, I mainly picked the stuff that was most fun to draw, not necessarily the most sophisticated. ^^
