That wasn't an intentional reference but I'll take it haha- praise the sun!

Original thought was just to use a bright and happy looking symbol to sum up the boy's tone of voice.

I'm glad you like it, thank you! Once the reference was pointed out I looked back at the picture and wondered how I didn't notice when I was drawing- Dark Souls is one of my favourite games of all time. Guess I was really concentrating at the time haha.
