Abalan is the oldest of the Malacia and has powers of unknown capabilities.
Some say that this Malacia has the ability to travel through time, while others say they've seen this creature shift into something like a human, growing to the size of a young child and walking on two legs... but this is all rambles of mad men who'd traveled too far in search of this creature.
Little is known about this particular member of the species, but the locals who live in and around the forests it has claimed to be its home say they'd rather keep it that way. "Do not meddle in the affairs of spirits." a man once told a wealthy outsider who'd come in search of the Malacia in hopes to study it.
The locals also put out offerings of fruit, hay and nuts, saying that this creature is more willing to keep them safe from the dark energies and spirits that haunt the lands by doing so. No one knows why this seems to be the case, but it has been this way for hundreds of years now.
In the larger villages around the forest, they had members known as 'speakers of the forest'. It turns out that this creature seems to possess the ability to communicate with humans, but will only do so with those it chooses. Those very select few who are chosen are then praised and treated with great respect among the villages. It's still not known what these chosen people see or hear from this Malacia for they are very strict with the information this ancient creature has to share with them.
