Ha haaa, this is just great! You really illustrated the chaos of a yinglet-filled vault well here. "Yinglets in Fallout" has actually been brought up a few times before, and it's pretty much one of the only scenarios where they might be at a bit of a natural advantage.
They're small and fast targets, don't have to be strong to use guns, can eat all sorts of junk that would kill most other species, have a natural resistance to toxic and/or radioactive things, and breed/mutate like crazy.
In a few short years after the opening of this vault, the surrounding area will take on the moniker of The Scavlands. Way to go, anonymous door-opener.
...On that note, the door-opener just got a few hundred BEST FRIENDS FOREVER, so any sort of player that doesn't have a crazy LUCK stat will probably die in one of the many localized disasters that his/her fan-flock will undoubtedly cause.

Given the setting, clearly VaultTec was running some yinglet-related experiments in regards to society and habitability in extreme circumstances.
But given their habit of introducing variables into their Vaults via the ventilation systems... unless the door-opener is wearing a hazmat suit, then hopefully they're okay with spending the rest of the game as a yinglet.
