Lil ref sheet for Mordecai. I had drawn this up like ages ago but only recently figured out how his markings work, so!

Mordecai is an older male melanistic roosevelt elk. His personality can be summed up as a technophobic red-blooded american. He works out regularly, wrestled in high school and used to fight bullies off weaker folks. He grew up in a military family but became an author, and has published a pretty low-key successful series, along with a few other published horror short stories.

He’s an outdoorsman who has some weird conceptions about technology, doesn’t own a TV or computer. He only owns a tiny flip phone because his friend Phil MADE HIM buy it, but its never on or on his person. He has some pretty weird paranoias about technology and time, and his works reflect his existential train of thought and anti-technology ideologies.
