The cover for my third official collaboration with the late David Whamond who passed away last month, which I suppose makes this a posthumous collaboration too. David and I originally wrote the story together as an animated short back in 2011 before revisiting the concept earlier this year and changing some elements of it. The premise for the story is set in the 1980s, where a dog on death row breaks out of jail resulting in an epic chase to Mexico!

David arranged it into something of a written storyboard, which made it much more straightforward for me to sketch and ink all the action. David was also going to colour a few of the pages too, but tragically he died before he could finish his first page, so I did all of the colouring in. This book is a tribute to my friendship with David, and it is also our first in FULL COLOUR, so I am looking forward to seeing how this appears in print :)

It is also released just in time for Christmas so it might make a nice gift for somebody ^^ The next book I will be working on will be the third instalment of Kat-Venture, which David also played a significant part in writing the structure and plot of the story.
