Moritaka and blitz square off deep in the mountains outside of the city trying get stronger for their future battles slowly becoming better friends and collide in battle.

moritaka: damn blitz you gotta keep going hard all the time

Blitz: you wish to get stronger puppy well this is how you do it

Moritaka and blitz continue to fight as they are watched by a black dragon from afar In the city calling himself Jehryn and smiles at his next target

Jehryn: so another ice weilder what a bore guess I'll take them both down at once

Blitz raises his hand creating a dome of ice around him and moritaka blocking a hail storm from raining on them releasing the dome blitz looks and sees a black dragon flying over them smiling down upon them

Blitz: apparently you have no manners aiming me and my partner

Moritaka: YEAH HOW DARE TOU DO THAT TO ME AND MY FRIEND

blitz looks over: friend?

Moritaka: yeah your my friend now let's get this guy maybe that training will
Pay off

Blitz: be careful moritaka don't get overzealous let me take point

Moritaka: of course great dragon God

Blitz: I swear your sillier every time

Rushing at the dragon blitz creates pillars of ice launching them at Jehryn who flys over dodging them and create a torrent of ice to slam only for moritaka to slice it in from of blitz

Moritaka: see big buddy I got this

Blitz knows that Jehryn is holding back and tries warning moritaka of the danger only to see him try and fight but is dodged and struck down by Jehryn tail

Blitz panicking releases kingdom of isolation bringing them to the palace and races at Jehryn who flys up generating a sword of ice in his hand looking at blitz sternly

Jehryn: I heard rumors about you a immortal dragon but all is see is a bear using ice like he's a pro

Moritaka: he is strong don't fuck with him asshole

Blitz: don't hurt him.......

Jehryn: then power up show me the great dragon Valefor

Blitz: I can't it would be too much.

Jehryn impales moritaka and lands him in the snow for blitz to run and hold him as he bleeds

Moritaka grips his blade trying to stand and points or at jehryn

Moritaka: is that......all.....you got

Falling over unconscious blitz loses his grip and screams out for valefor turning him to his dragon form and wielding the cobalt blue spear and points it at Jehryn

Blitz: here you pay....

Jehryn: now a challenge......

As soon as he speaks blitz backhands him and bashes Jehryn around like a pinball machine until he summons an ice chain and drags him up before impaling him to the ground
Leaving him unconscious he reverts back and takes moritaka to his home and bandages him crying over his failure

Blitz: you got hurt and it was all my fault

Valefor speaks to blitz as he watches Moritaka sleep

Valefor: dear boy it's the curse we are not meant to have family or friends we merely venture further away

Blitz: then I shall.....

Later that night moritaka sees blitz belongings missing and looks around seeing the door swinging open and the snow falling around him

Moritaka: blitz!!!!!!where are you!!!!!?

Blitz appears behind him

Blitz: I'm here but I wanted to say goodbye

Moritaka: why leave you don't have to cause of what happened if we keep getting stronger we can......

Blitz: me he was after me and he targeted you. I can't allow that again I don't want your gettin killed for my sake

Moritaka: your not going to it's not your fault

Hugging blitz moritaka squeezes tighter as he feels ice shattering and sees blitz was merely a ice clone and drops to his knees crying as blitz lifts his hood up shedding tears

Blitz: I don't belong anywhere and it better I left before your forced to hate me as well
