A work-in-progress of Super Collie delivering a mihimihi (traditional Maori greeting) while being honoured at a marae (Maori meeting house).
Because of this ceremony, her normal cloak has been replaced by a Maori ceremonial cloak made from kiwi feathers - an honour normally extended only to chiefs and New Zealand Heads of State.
E ngā iwi, e ngā reo, e ngā karangataha maha o ngā hau e wha, tēnei te mihi atu ki a koutou katoa.
Ko Aoraki tōku maunga, ko Opihi tōku awa, kō Te Whānau-a-Aotearoa tōku iwi.
Ko Super Collie tōku ingoa. He te hēpara kaitiaki o te whenua o Aotearoa.
