Yorda wasn't able able to become captain of the fencing team like Clovis, or captain of the swim team like Myra, captain of the wrestling team like Cassius, or captain of the gymnast team like Anya: but her incredibly sharp wit enabled her to swiftly become captain of the debate team.
Don't worry, she is incredibly soft spoken and highly respectful during debates. She doesn't look down on her opposition and doesn't throw personal attacks...
She was however, slightly perturbed when two religious fanatics proselytized to her in her favorite coffee shop, nonetheless, she had a fun conversation.

Agreed.
First: Any Being that let's his one and only Son be born a mortal, go through 33 years of human existence and all that it entails, and suffer one of the most painful and humiliating deaths ever, just so we can be saved from sin (meaning death, as in eternal death, which is debated that this is actually what the scriptures talk about, not necessarily an eternal hot place for baddies), is pretty okay in my book.
Second: God didn't create the sin that has consumed us to this day, prompting the so-called creation of what many labeled "Hell". The final events are a necessity to end all this suffering. He's given us all a heads-up. There is divine punishment, but there's also a heaven, complete with friends, family, food, wardrobe, killer living spaces and an unbeatable health plan.
Third: I don't have scriptures to back me, but religious texts say that even those that never heard God's name haven't been forgotten: God remembers them and will judge accordingly.
Lastly: God despises more those that say that they live according to His word and does the opposite than those who reject Him. There's no luke-warm with Him.
The way the word of God is preached can impact a person negatively. There's gotta be balance when preaching the word. Extremism is bad no matter how you cut it. Fire-and-brimstone preachers instill fear, rather than love. The opposite is true: some preachers go all lovey-dovey, but God is a just God; like a parent, he not only reprimands, but helps you out if you ask Him.
If you or anybody have any questions let me know. I'll try to do my best.
CPT, thank you for letting me give my counterpoint.
