Background: Gillmun Ordan Stratus was born to Alto and Talya Stratus 17 years before the eruption of the Clone Wars in which his home planet would be thrown. At an early age, Gillmun was taught how to fight and kill, his father turning him into a warrior like himself. When he reached his 17th year of age, he joined the Nimbus Commando group led by his father Alto. During the start of the Clone Wars, Alto led a bloody coup against the Republic loyalists, with Gillmun at his side. When the surviving loyalists called in for help, Jabiim’s locals went to war against each other. During the first days of the campaign, Gillmun kill 26 clones and 3 Jedi in several ambush attacks alongside his fellow Nimbus Commandos and his father. Within weeks, the Jabimmi Separatist forces led by his father, had pushed back the Reps to the Razor coast. Gillmun watched in horror as his father was wounded and then killed by the Jedi. In a blind rage, Stratus went out on his own and started to kill the remaining loyalists in the area with his bare hand. The campaign ended soon after, the Seps won, but at a high cost. Two years passed and Gillmun was informed of the blow struck to the Jedi Order and joined the newly formed Galactic Empire to help see an end to the Order that killed his father early in the war. Upon joining the Naval Academy, Stratus excelled at all tasks and graduated 11th in his class. Upon receiving command of a modified strike cruiser, he renamed it Jabiim’s Revenge. The Jedi he is currently hunting is General Marcus Starkiller of the Rebel Alliance. During a close-quarters fight with Starkiller, Gillmun received a nasty scar across the right side of his face from the Corellian Jedi's lightsaber.

Side note: When in battle, Gillmun wears the restored crimson robe that his father Alto wore when he was killed by a Jedi. He does this as a reminder of his hatred for the Jedi and to honor his fathers memory as a military leader.
