Woah, I've written a story, AND posted it no less? Well... sorta.
LunarGabumon wrote a story for me, and while I was really touched by it... it had some lack of editing, as most first drafts do. Long story short, what began as story editing turned into collabing, and here we are! X3 Because my phone is an iPhone and thus won't download files, I had to use a photo in order to upload this. FA is blocked on the wifi currently, so the limits justify the means.
So without further edu, I present to you... Lycanroc and Roll!
EDIT 9/21/17: I noticed the name of the place was Garnets instead of Garments, oops.
EDIT 9/16/18: Fixed some spelling and grammatical errors I had! This was hastily posted, oops.
Jordan was taking a stroll out at night, feeling like a stroll would help what he had absorbed in class sink in. It was a bit of an eerie night; a golden crescent moon glowed, imbuing the earth with a spookier and darker version of the sun's light, but Jordan didn’t mind. And although he didn’t know it, his dragon necklace was drinking in that light like a sponge. It had begun softly glowing under the moonlight as it bathed in the lunar energy of the moon, powering itself up as Jordan went on his walk. He had walked for few blocks, waving to strangers passing by him casually- not that there were many pedestrians at this hour. It felt like this night was special. The stars were more easily seen, the Milky Way was opening up to the Earth, and the moon complimented the beautiful scenery of the night’s sky. It was all like a canvas on a gorgeous painting.
"What a beautiful night!" The human said with a smile as he went into the center of town. The town was full of light; it was almost like a spooky town with a few of the old well-placed shops around. The streets were almost completely silent, lacking in pedestrians. Despite this void of people, it still felt like there were a few souls around.
The reflective silence was awkwardly interrupted with a growling stomach. "Oh bother! I forgot to eat dinner back at the dorm again!" He rubbed his stomach to quell the pain, before shrugging it off and checking his wallet. "Might as well get a bite to eat at a nearby fast food joint..."
He frowned as soon as he opened his wallet. “...Bother. No cash, and my spending budget is already pretty tight this month..." He let out a disappointed sigh. "Darn it! Well, I'll have to wait… again. I'm pretty sure when I get back to the dorm my roommate has something cooked up. Hopefully not a disgusting disaster like last time. I mean, taco Tuesday AND Thursday? Bleh.” He rolled his eyes with an accompanying groan.
Continuing onward on his walk, a red blur quickly whizzed past him, making the grass next to the sidewalk whoosh in the same direction. "Woahkay!" Jordan stumbled a bit in surprise, quickly looking in the direction where the red was going. To his surprise, there was nothing there, as if he had imagined yet.. There was something there. "Odd... Something dashed past me, I was sure of it."
Weirded out, he cautiously pressed on. It didn’t take long for the human to stumble on what looked to be a silly-looking shop however, complete with a hat-themed sign. The store, from the view the human had, possessed Halloween-type garments in the windows. But at the same time, there were also fashionable coats, shirts, and outfits sitting in similar positions. They seemingly glowed from the moon’s lunar energy reflections, possibly designed to attract other people if they stumbled upon the store. There seemed to be a sale going as well, as typical sale store signs were hanging off window suction-cup hangers.
"Huh? Since when was this place here...?" The human peered inside, quickly spotting what was clearly a Pokemon cloaked in dark red fur. It was pretty furry, and it had bright red rippling eyes that almost seemed to glow… but maybe that was just the lights playing a trick on Jordan’s eyes. "A-A Lycanroc? No… must be someone in a really good fursuit. Still…” Jordan glanced around, and upon seeing no one else was on the street to see him, he walked- but quickly ended up dashing from his growing excitement- into the store. It wasn’t often he got an opportunity like this!
The Lycanroc looked up from the boxes he was unpacking to the door as the opening bell chimed, making him grin that iconic grin Midnight Lycanrocs were known for. "Oh hey, a customer!” The wolf quickly whispered to himself, “looks like a new member of the pack is gonna join tonight."
Jordan shyly hid his excitement as the bell chimed, taking a deep breath. Trying to act normal, he purposefully avoided the wolvish employee and fake-browsed the store’s merchandise for an aisle or two, trying to stop himself from glancing at the store worker every so often. There were all sorts of clothes hanging on the racks, perfectly lined up according to design and size. But his thoughts only drifted deeper and deeper into speculation about the Lycanroc as he browsed… and it was only when that Lycanroc approached the human and cleared his throat that Jordan had realized that he had been staring at the XXL shirts for a few minutes.
"Welcome to Xavier's Lunar Garments! I’m Leo, do you need any help selecting a particular pair of clothing sir?”
“Huh?!” The human leapt in surprise. “U-uh, I’m good! Just um, browsing. ...Yeah, browsing.” Despite his best attempts to look away, Jordan’s eyes were practically magnetized to the wolf’s appearance. It looked so real! Just how expensive was this fursuit? And for that matter, why was an employee even wearing one?
"Browsing you say? Anything catching your eyes good sir?” Leo prodded on, curious about his customer’s desires.
“Uh… n-nothing yet!” Jordan responded, hastily looking around on a hyperbolic level. “Say, um... Ahem! Why are you wearing a Lycanroc suit?”
“Suit? Oh, I’m not wearing a suit! This is real!”
“Wh-what? ...Really? Truly?” Jordan was cautiously optimistic. Either the Lycanroc wasn’t joking, or the guy in the suit was really wanting it to be real. Perhaps poetically, if the latter really was the case, Jordan would have shared that desire equally as much at that moment.
Leo chuckled. “Yeah, truly! Give me a pet and belly rub kiddo, you’ll believe me after that.”
Jordan shyly approached the Lycanroc, glancing up at their head as he reached for the wolf’s stomach. When Leo nodded reassuringly, he placed his hand on the wolf’s stomach… and slowly felt the fur in a circle. It felt as real as an actual dog’s fur, prompting Jordan to slowly warm up and begin to rub with both hands. Leo’s tail quickly began wagging, slowly giving into panting as the belly rubs intensified. Another glance up, and Jordan’s belief was sealed. No suit could have a real, slick, organic tongue or maw like the one before him now!
“You’re… you’re really a Lycanroc!” The human gasped, pulling away in shock!
“Yep! Gosh that felt good…” Leo was in a bit of a daze, he always enjoyed belly rubs. Had the human pressed onwards with his massage, Leo would have fallen to the ground and acted like a huge puppy!
“Th-then how are you… What are you… why am I…” It took several attempts for Jordan to form the questions he wanted. “How?! I-I mean, Pokemon aren’t real, and yet you’re standing before me! ...Speaking English no less.”
“Magic!” As a lame an answer as it was, that was the answer nonetheless. Not that Jordan was surprised; Pokemon were a little bit out there in terms of science. “...And I was born speaking english.” Leo huffed, An eyebrow raised.
“People aren’t born speaking- I mean, can’t Pokemon only speak their names, except in Mystery Dungeon?”
“Well, I meant I was raised to speak English, like you humans do.” He answered with a chuckle.
“So... Pokemon CAN learn Engli- wait, priorities! Magic?! What kind, how can I do it, were you transformed or brought here?” The curious human fired off question after question in rapid succession, dying to know all he could as soon as possible.
"I came here from the Pokemon world, which is a lot more magical than your world. And let me sum up the rest of the questions with this: it’s magic that is WAY too complicated for you."
Jordan hastily replied, "Aw... But!-"
Leo shook his head and cut in. "I can't give out secrets anyway newcomer! After all, it'd ruin the specialness to the magic!"
"Well… bother, that’s a good enough point." Jordan took a look around, trying to distance himself from the moment and see the shop in a whole new light. Now, he saw oddly normal looking clothing, a few toys, but that seemed to be all. Jordan was almost disappointed with the lack of magical items in the place when his eyes became drawn to a certain black fur coat…
“Hm? This is a pretty nice coat…” The human took the coat off the rack and began examining it. “I do need a bigger coat, the one I currently have is getting torn up…”
Meanwhile, the Lycanroc had finally spied his necklace. (The human has a magical artifact on him and he doesn't even know it?) The Lycanroc thought to himself. (Well, I'll have leave that information as a surprise for the boy.)
“So uh, how much is this sir? Er wait, Leo?” Jordan showed the coat to the wolf.
"Oh it's free! All the clothing here is free- but only for certain people. The clothing chooses the one who wears them after all!"
Jordan glanced at the Pokemon in surprise. “Really? That’s… pretty cool? But what’s the purpose of-” The human made eye contact with the Lycanroc’s red spiraling eyes, losing track of what he was talking about… and becoming enthralled in Leo’s eyes.
“Why don't you try it on? You'll love it, I promise.” Leo grinned as the hypnotized human began to put the coat on without even realizing it. His mind was too distracted to even notice that the coat didn’t fit at all, as though it was made for someone else. Someone shaped… very different. Despite this, as soon he put the coat on he fell in love with it, the hypnosis fading away and letting the human be in control of himself again. But before he had a chance to say something about the coat’s unusual size, something happened. He was tingling all over, and a quick glance into a conveniently placed pillar mirror revealed he was transforming!
He began transforming slowly at first. It started with his ears changing to a dog ears, then his hands grew bigger as well as his arms. His legs became more canine-like, the clothing he was wearing thankfully morphing along with to fit his changing body structure. His face pushed out and extended into a wolf’s muzzle, his nose becoming a cute black doggie nose. His head hair became denser white fur near the head and black fur where it drooped over his eyes, while his upper back grew a ton of white fur that fluffed up and connected to his head fur. Jordan noticed this after a minute.
"I-I'm transforming!" The half-human managed to finally spit out, in joyful shock over the turn of events! A tail pushed out of his pants, where thankfully a conveniently placed hole had appeared so that the pants nor his new tail had to undergo unnecessary strain. The fur spread from his head and back across his body at breakneck speed, the transformation’s momentum only increasing along with. In the time it took for Jordan to examine himself again and try to form a response, the transformation had already finished.
"I'm a Lycanroc! I-I’m actually a Lycanroc!" Jordan looked at his new big paws in awe, hardly able to believe what he was seeing and feeling. “This… t-this is… I can’t find any words for it!”
The wolfish clerk casually came up to and hugged the newly turned rock pup. "Welcome to the pack sweetheart! You’re gonna love it.”
Things weren’t done however. Jordan’s stomach began to push out bit by bit, slowly accelerating to the point where Leo could feel it. He pulled away a bit in surprise, watching as pound after pound was heaped onto the new Lycanroc’s fluffy frame. 300 pounds, 400 pounds, 500 pounds… the poor former human could only clutch his fattening belly and feel the fat push past his big paws as he only began to weigh more and more. His cheeks plumped out, his paws grew thicker, and his arms and legs rounded out with adipose. It didn’t seem to ever end! Jordan leaned over to try to see his full gain, but alas… his massive frame prevented him from even seeing his new footpaws!
His taut and round stomach groaned and gurgled as the inflation of fatness finally ended at a nice round 700 pounds. The full weight of his form finally hit him at this moment. “Phew…” The obese Lycanroc leaned against the mirrored pillar, the movement helping his shirt ride up his belly. “Wh-why am I so big and heavy?” As much as he would like to deny it, Jordan’s tail was practically thrashing. A special day indeed! This was the best form of wish fulfillment he could have ever hoped for.
"D-did you eat anything on the way here?" The Lycanroc asked curiously, blushing. If he had meant to keep his attraction to the new Lycanroc a secret, he was failing.
"I-I didn't eat anything, why? " Jordan groaned.
Leo glanced at the fatso’s necklace… and grinned. “Aha, I see! When you transformed, your wish for food was granted. So you got stuffed full of a ton of food!”
“Wh-what? Urp!” Jordan covered his mouth with a paw. “Excuse me! I guess this is why I feel so bloated and stuffed...”
Leo grinned once more. "Well, you're super cute now, so it’s a plus! You're so flabby and fat... Man, you look great!" He complimented his ‘customer,’ hugging him close and rubbing the pudgy pup’s gut thoroughly. "Welcome to the pack!"
Jordan panted happily and uncontrollably, his tail definitely thrashing now as he heaved himself off the pillar and stood as best he could on his new furry and fatty legs. "T-Thanks! I'm gonna love being in this pack of yours, I just know it.” He quickly glanced down at his stomach, then gained the iconic Lycanroc grin for the first time- and certainly not the last. “I hope there will be plenty of food! I get the feeling my stomach won’t be anything like it used to be from this.” He pat his fluffy stomach gently for emphasis.
“Don’t worry, there will be plenty of food for you tubby.” Leo smiled widely, his own tail wagging fiercely as well. “Until then… why don’t you go back home for now and get used to your new form and size? Transformation can be exhausting, and you’ll need your rest.”
As if on cue, Jordan yawned. “Yeah… that sounds like a good idea to me. Will this place still be here tomorrow?”
"Yeah right here. This place is here to stay after all!”
“Awesome!” Jordan gave Leo a big tight hug. “This is the best, I… thank you so much, really! I won’t ever forget this.” Jordan pulled away and smiled at his magical counterpart. “Until tomorrow… I guess I’ll see you! I know I can’t wait to learn more about… well, everything about this.” The fat Lycanroc waddled through the door, making the bell ring, and rushed back to his dorm room.
“I’m so excited, that was a fantastic first customer!” He went back to unboxing his stuff for the store, his tail swishing. “I wonder what’s gonna happen next…”
