The blade cut trough the air with a faint swish, like the sound of a silk sheet slipping off a bed. It carved a path through the air, dipping and weaving, sunlight glinting off it like a salmon fighting its way upstream. Swordplay wasn't a science, it was an art, a thing of beauty. You and the blade were one, it was an extension of your body, a claw of steel.
