dddawwwww!! a dumbo rattie! he looks just like a 3 week old pup i have in a litter right now only mines a little girl, I love dumbos they are the sweetest things ever.

XD Raising them from birth is so much fun! A little part of me wants a female to breed and cuddle babies, but I'm going towards pet rescue next... Do my part to make sure a pet gets a better home than before.

i started breeding when i was 11, got my first rat from a not so great person ended up having an accidental litter mom died later on though, she was inbred we found out, but i got addicted, so i bred until i was about 16 kept my breeders until they got old and passed away. all of my rats lived to be about 5 years old without ever getting cancer or tumors. and this is my first litter since then. i wanted to have a few more because it will be a long time before i do again. gotta find someone to adopt my adults within the next couple months sadly, i'm having a baby in July. which isn't the reason. but due to military my husband once his tour in Korea is over in February of 2010 we are being sent to germany and I can't take them with :(

I got my first rats when I was 11 too.... Ratatta and Rattrap.... I got better at names since then. Timbaillee and Sebastian are almost one and a half, so they've got a good long life ahead still. I wish you the best of luck finding homes for your adults!

Rizzo the hairless dumbo was the love of my life. lol I did everything with that rat she was sooooo smart, she'd give kisses on comand, knew her name and i let her run loose outdoors, she was great. lol

Cancer is even worse with the albino mice that lack an immune system. Only good mice though. The rest are evil. Rats are awesome though. Dunno why people have a better view of mice. It makes no sense.

i used to keep mice to, all my rats had a pet mouse. :P but i much preferr rats to mice, i think they like mice better because they are small and don't seem as gross with the smaller tails. I know its the rat tails that get a lot of people. I did have 1 mouse named Pepper though that was epicly awesome. super smart and loooooved me. lol she'd escape her cage to come see me, sadly its what was the end of her, she got out and came looking for me after i left the room and one of the cats caught her, i got the mouse away from her, no physical damage but she died of shock later on sadly.

I have had problems working with mice. They are mean sometimes. The albino ones are nice.

i've never owned a mean mouse, they were always very sweet. and i had sable, black and white and butter colored, i never owned albino. but i doubt its color that makes the personality.

No. More than the color is differant about these albino mice and not all of it good. The are much more playfull than the other mice I work with. The downside is that they have a defective immune system which is why I was specifically working with them. But they are much nicer than all the other mice we get in. It's all in genetics. Believe me, there is noticable differance.

thats weird. all my mice were so sweet. i still preferr my dumbo rats though. but i'll never forgett my big daddy rat and his little mouse buddy. he'd pick him up in his paws and groom him and the mouse lived on his back and only got down to be groomed, drink and eat. it was cute.
