The Sky Rover's Guide to the Galaxy
Leandre's FanArt notes #SPOD-001:
"So assume there was an ancient weapon called the Skyripper, powerful enough to banish a god from this world milennia ago. Surely, it would be the gamechanger the rebels needed in order to turn the tables and bring down the overpowering empire in the end?"
This is one of the ´many endings to "Stories: The Path of Destinies", one of my favourite games by far this year. I am absolutely in love with the Skyripper and all of the horrible things that come out of trying to have Reynado somehow use this doomsday device to win the war.
"Stories: The Path of Destinies" and all associated characters belong to Spearhead Games.

Yeah, I know, right? I've heard time and time again people complaining about losing in arbitrary ways all the time without them being able to do anything about it, but not being able to beat it the first few times through is kind of the point. I found it to be a truly unique experience to see the few hours the story revolves around play out from so many different angles, and to truly experience what little details can cost you the victory in this game. Even if the gameplay was somewhat mediocre, the storytelling alone makes this one of my games of the year.
Its how Calaveras explains the odds. 1 in 128
Rolling 21 dice and they all come up all 6? More like 2.71 sixes in a row.

Oh, now I get it. Its 6^2.71, which is around 128. So the odds are less than rolling 3 dice and they all come up 6.
