I dunno, the hands just look off, they're anatomicly correct, but they just look odd,

Hands are always a tough thing to do, they annoy me so much that I just draw clenched fists more often, I have confidence you'll eventually figure things out and be a great artist

as for the tails, you could lower em a tad, and were you trying for roo' like legs?

to an extent, they usually come out much better than this, but eh, failed roo legs are better than no roo legs at all,

Always the magic trick of ending the image ;) without finishing the rest, just a shady bottom
